About
Louise Dunne studied English Literature and Drama at Victoria University in Wellington and has a Diploma in Professional Performance from Toi Whakaari - The New Zealand Drama School.
After working in the arts in New Zealand, Louise travelled extensively, living and working in New York and London before settling in Amsterdam and joining RNW Media (formerly Radio Netherlands International/De Wereldomroep) in 1997.
During her career at RNW Media, Louise specialised in a wide variety of roles including journalist, programme maker, web editor, translator, operational manager and communications specialist.
She has also worked extensively as a radio presenter and voice-over artist in various styles including commercials, documentary commentary, dubbing, corporate videos and radio drama.
As a creator of original content, Louise’s areas of thematic expertise include international development, sexual and reproductive health and rights, LGBTQ+ issues, digital media for social change and the arts and culture sector, where her practical experience gives her work integrity and substance.
Language, storytelling and communication are consistent themes throughout Louise’s career, all combining in the services offered by Well Expressed Words.
